 From Vancouver or Seattle, the "Highway to Sun Peaks" is virtually four lane.
Located 45 minutes from Kamloops in BC's Interior, Sun Peaks is easily accessible from
both Vancouver (4 ½ hours) and Seattle (5 ½ hours) on the scenic four lane Coquihalla Highway, from Banff (6 ½ hours) on the Trans Canada Highway, and from Jasper
(5 hours) on the Yellowhead Highway. Kamloops Airport, just 45 minutes from Sun Peaks,
is serviced by two airlines. Regular shuttles to the mountain, and to other resorts in B.C.

Transportation to and from the Kamloops Airport for all regular flights.

From Vancouver:
Take TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY 1 eastbound from Vancouver. Choose the COQUIHALLA HIGHWAY to Kamloops. Approx. 3 ¼ - 3 ½ hours. Once into Kamloops, take the HIGHWAY 5 EXIT northbound to Jasper. Approx. 25 kilometers. Look for signs to Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks Resort and turn right into Heffley Creek. Turn left at the Heffley General Store. There is a directional sign for Sun Peaks here. Proceed along this two-lane road up the mountain for approximately 25 - 30 minutes. Burfield Drive is the first road to your right as you pass the "Sun Peaks Info Kiosk" (just opposite the fire hall).
Fairways Drive is also accessed from Burfield Dr.
Continue on Sun Peaks Road to the Village.

From Seattle:
Take the I-5 NORTH to Bellingham. Exit on MERIDIAN STREET, heading east and north towards the Sumas border. Cross the border into Canada at Sumas and take the TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY 1 eastbound for Hope. After Hope, you will be given the option of three highways: Choose the COQUIHALLA HIGHWAY to Kamloops. Approx. 2 ¾ hours Once into Kamloops, take the HIGHWAY 5 exit northbound to Jasper. Approx. 25 kilometers. Look for the signs to Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks and turn right into Heffley Creek.
